Step 1: The intake – your wishes are central
At Esthetic Dental Team (EDT), everything starts with an extensive intake. We listen carefully to your wishes and look at the possibilities together. With the help of a sample book with our own work, you get a clear picture of the aesthetic options. We take professional digital mouth photos and draw up a treatment plan. In addition, a test wax model is made, a realistic model of the intended end result. In many cases, this test setup can be placed directly in the mouth, so that you already get a good idea of ​​what your new smile will look like. If necessary, we help you find a suitable dentist based on your place of residence and the treatment to be performed.
 
Step 2: Assessment by the dentist
During the next appointment, the dentist will assess the health of your teeth. This is essential to prevent problems from developing later. The test wax setup will be assessed and fitted if possible, so that any adjustments can be made at an early stage. And a treatment plan will be drawn up.
 
Step 3: Preparation and temporary veneers or crowns
When your teeth/gums are in good health, the dentist prepares the teeth and takes impressions. Based on these (digital) impressions, we make models on which the definitive veneers or crowns are made.
Using the mold of the design, temporary veneers or crowns (temporary provisions) are made. These ensure that you already have a beautiful smile during the treatment period and can get used to our design. The molds also provide insight into how much tooth material needs to be ground - and whether that is necessary at all.
During this period, you can share your experiences with us, so that we can make adjustments if necessary. This significantly increases the success and satisfaction of the treatment.
 
Step 4: The final fine-tuning for a perfect result
On this day, you will visit the Esthetic Dental Team (EDT) to try on the veneers and perfect them down to the smallest detail. We will optimize the shape, color and fit, so that the end result perfectly matches your natural teeth and appearance.
During this appointment, you can still have adjustments made, so that you have full say and are 100% satisfied with the final result. Only when everything is to your liking, you will take the veneers to the dentist, who will place them permanently that same day. This way, you will leave the practice with a radiant, natural-looking smile!
