So often it has happened to me that I was told something was not possible, that I just had to live with it or accept it.
I can name countless examples where, after some time or many years later, I suddenly met the right person and it turned out to be possible after all.
I won't mention any examples, but I will stick to the happy moment when I ended up at the Esthetic Dental Team in Hilversum. In the preceding years, I had already inquired several times about the possibilities of veneers or a better appearance of two front teeth and a lower tooth that bothered me terribly. Due to anxiety issues, my visits to the dentist had long been limited to mainly the annual check-ups, but after losing two dentists in whom I had finally gained some trust, these visits also stopped. As a result, my teeth did not improve. My teeth had been well maintained for a long time, but they did not deserve a beauty prize. That was not necessary for me, but I did want the first visual impression to be more aesthetically pleasing. Until now, the dentist had made me believe that the orthodontist was the only way. I had almost given up hope, until I heard through the grapevine about the possibilities of a makeover. I found an orthodontist to be too long a process. Besides, that doesn't change the properties of the teeth themselves. I wanted an easy, faster solution that wouldn't take too much time. And that's what it became.

While googling, I ended up on the website of the Esthetic Dental Team. The website, with many examples of veneers, etc., looked so professional right away that it gave me enough confidence to quickly make an appointment. Everything went very quickly. There were no waiting times and I could be seen almost immediately. Both the treatments at the dentist and at the Esthetic team were carried out in a relaxed yet professional manner. All staff were very attentive and did everything possible to make the treatment as efficient as possible. Instead of two front teeth, it became a row of veneers on top and a bridge with three veneers on the bottom. Due to the overdue maintenance of my teeth, I first went through a preliminary process in which everything was thoroughly and extensively addressed. The entire preliminary process plus the final placement of the veneers took a total of one year. I can only say that the Esthetic Dental Team and Tandheelkunst have truly practiced art and made my wish come true. For this, I would like to thank Eric Tak's esthetic team, the laboratory, and everyone who provided me with their expert services once again. It has given me more self-confidence and I now dare to show my smile again.

It has once again made it clear to me that opportunities are not reserved for a single person, but are the common denominator of several people. Dare to believe in those who see exceptional situations as a challenge and dare to think in terms of possibilities even then. Or as Ronald Mak from the Esthetic Dental Team laboratory put it, "dare to think out of the box." People are often inclined to take the traditional path and do not dare to walk outside the beaten track.
The Esthetic Dental Team knows all about that. I wish them much success and a lot of job satisfaction now and in the future.

Dear Ronald and Floris,

Last summer you made six veneers for me. I am very happy with them. They look just like real teeth. It did take me several appointments, but it was well worth it. Following my experience, my sister-in-law also had her front teeth done, but with a different dentist. Her veneers were ready the same day because they were made by a machine. She is not satisfied with them at all, and I have to say I don't think they look nice either, so I am extra happy with my own teeth (veneers) :-). The veneers are not nice in shape or color. The dentist does not want to redo them, so now she is going to a dentist who works with Esthetic Dental Team, which unfortunately means double costs. I just wanted to let you know!

Dear Ronald and Floris,
In the autumn of 2012, I started a small renovation of my upper teeth together with my dentist Jennifer Lapar (Tandheelkunst Woerden).
After exploring all kinds of possibilities, Jennifer, together with the team from Esthetic Dental, drew up a plan so that my upper teeth would look completely new after the renovation.
The treatments at the dentist were quite intense, and then I went to Hilversum to see what would give the best result for my upper teeth.
After my first visit, I already had a very good feeling about it. This is a very skilled team!
After the placement of the temporary solution, I could already get a bit of an idea of what the final version would look like.
However, this was a wrong estimation because after picking up and trying on the final version and the extra service from Ronald and Floris, the end result turned out to be incredibly beautiful. Even more beautiful than I had expected and hoped.
The teeth look natural and give my face a more beautiful appearance. I can't remember ever looking in the mirror as much as I do now...
The reactions are also very nice to hear.

My four front teeth were previously built up with composite. This material discolored quickly, so I often found myself at the dentist to have the build-up redone, never really achieving a satisfying result. I also always found it very unpleasant to ask about it because dentists (and I’ve seen quite a few) would say that it’s normal for teeth to discolor and weren’t really keen on redoing it. At a certain point, I started looking online for veneers and saw that a lot is possible in this area, with beautiful results achievable. I went to a cosmetic dentist who assured me of a beautiful smile. On the day my teeth were to be prepared, I became extremely anxious when he also started grinding the back of my teeth, since with veneers only the front of the teeth is supposed to be ground. The dentist assured me this was fine and that he had always intended to make crowns. I was horrified, but the damage was already done. To make matters worse, the result was absolutely not beautiful. The color was too dark and the teeth were too long, too wide, and too convex. It didn’t match the rest of my teeth, making it obvious that I had crowns. This was exactly what I didn’t want! I walked around with these crowns for five months and felt utterly miserable about it. Eventually, I started searching for another aesthetic dentist for a second opinion and ended up at the Esthetic Dental Team. This immediately felt different; for example, there was a natural collaboration between the laboratory (Esthetic Dental Team) and the dentist. As a client, you can go to the Esthetic Dental Team on the day of placement to try on the teeth, which is incredibly nice because this way the teeth can be made to fit in detail. By now, I was really fed up with the whole teeth story and also dreaded having to walk around with temporary crowns again, but they took this into account by shortening that period, which was great. On the day of fitting the crowns, we discovered that the teeth were a bit too translucent and slightly too dark; apparently, I was quite a difficult case due to a very light tooth color. However, the result was really acceptable, and with white cement, the color would improve. A little later, Ronald came to me and said he still wasn’t satisfied with the result and was afraid that over time I would find the crowns too translucent. He therefore decided to remake the teeth entirely! Now that’s what I call service and dedication!! After working hard, the teeth were ready by the end of the same day, and the dentist (Dr. de Virgiliis) placed the crowns after his working hours—truly amazing! I am now the proud owner of a beautiful smile! I have my self-confidence back and can close this chapter, but if I ever need anything done to my teeth again, I know where to go.

Gentlemen of the Esthetic Dental Team,
Some time ago, I was dreading the idea of renewing my 6 front teeth (with crowns that had been in place for 30 years). My son had already pointed out to me that you could make beautiful crowns. After a moped accident, he had almost lost his 2 front teeth, and crowns had to be placed on them as well. I was so impressed by the result of his teeth that I took the plunge and came to you. First, extensive photos were taken and a treatment plan was discussed. After a visit to the dentist, I decided to renew all 6 of my front teeth with your crowns. Your teeth, and especially your front teeth, are your calling card.
Now I am a happy person! I can laugh wholeheartedly again and should have done this many years earlier. The technique and your craftsmanship are MASTERY!

Hi Ronald and Floris,
Through this message I want to let you know how satisfied I am with the result of the restoration and renewal of my teeth. It started in February 2010, after a serious mountain biking accident in which my face and teeth were badly damaged.
Looking back, the recovery of my face went fairly smoothly, but my teeth required a lot of patience, with some temporary solutions. More than 2 years later and here is the final result! Wooowwww… looks great, doesn’t it?! It turned out beautifully. The bridge and veneer look and feel like my own teeth. Incredible!
So all compliments are well deserved. I am completely satisfied!
